Noran Neurological Clinic is the nation’s largest privately owned neurology clinic and has been a Davis client for over 20 years. Noran’s hospital partner asked it to create a stronger east metropolitan presence to better serve the system’s clinical needs. Noran engaged Davis to conduct a comprehensive market study. Davis analyzed Noran’s patient base, referral sources, demographic trends and competitor profiles to create a market prioritization list.
Upon selecting the market for its east-side clinic, Davis developed a comprehensive list of available options. Noran determined that none of the options met its strategic or operational goals. Davis then identified and secured a site that afforded Noran with the image and visibility it sought. The site cost required Davis to design and build a building significantly larger than Noran’s needs. Davis began construction with only the Noran lease commitment – less than 50% pre-leased.
